| My OperaMini connects flawlessly! But I cannot download flurry - incorrect page. When I try and log in using standard internet, it tells me my connection settings are wrong. Any advice would be appreciated. |

In a non-opera browser do this:
1) Navigate the http://www.flurry.com on your phone.
2) Login to your flurry account (you can either login with your FLURRY username/password or login using your email address and it's password)
3) Select the download link to download the client directly to your phone.
If you have any further questions please post them here. _________________ Sincerely,

I have a similar issue. I managed to download the application for my phone (Blackberry Curve) but when testing the network connection upon initial load up I get the following message:
NETWORK ERROR
Sorry, connecting to the internet failed. Please be sure your phone is GPRS enabled, you have a good wireless signal, and you can access the internet from Java applications. You may need to contact your wireless provider to enable internet access on your phone.
I was wondering if anybody else has had any problems with downloading flurry onto a Blackberry Curve? I use the Opera Mini browser which works great, but to download it I had to go through my service provider's WAP browser via the link www.flurry.com/fm2.jad, or by signing into my flurry account and downloading that way (i get the same results both ways). I'm not sure if that could be a problem? Also it takes close to a half hour (give or take) to complete the network connection test. The TCP settings in the phone are set to connect to the apn "internet.com" which works great for browsing with the WAP browser, Opera Mini, Google Maps, Telenav Map, etc. so I don't think it's a JAVA or connection problem?
Any advice, ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

Dear adamgritchie,
Unfortunately our flurry client does not run on the BlackBerry device currently. We do have a mobile web solution that will work on the Black Berry device.
If you navigate to http://flurry.com and login with your credentials you will be able to access all the mail accounts and new feeds you signed up for on flurry. _________________ Sincerely,

I have successfully installed on 3 different Blackberry devices, to do so you need to download the .jad and .jar files for the MIDP2 clients and put those files on your BB media card. Once on the card, go thru BB Media Application and select Explore from the file menu, locate the files (put them in the same folder) and click the .jad file to execute the install. Worked like a dream for me with no issues on either the 8100, 8300, or 8310.
Enjoy! |
